Solutions for how your business uses AI.
Start with the job you want AI to do and the budget you have. We recommend the models and infrastructure that fit, and say so when a smaller option is enough.
Where AI earns its keep.
Each of these starts as one team and one workflow. The right-hand column shows what it usually runs on.
| Business function | What the system does | Typically runs on |
|---|---|---|
| Customer service | Answers customer questions and drafts replies from your policies, contracts and case history. | Mid-size model on token services, or one RTX PRO server |
| Software engineering | Coding assistants and code review that run on your own repositories without sending code to a third party. | Large open-source model on dedicated capacity or an 8-GPU server |
| Operations and maintenance | Searches manuals, work orders and procedures, and helps technicians diagnose faults. | Mid-size model with retrieval, on premises or at the edge |
| Finance and risk | Summarises filings and contracts, supports KYC and claims review, and logs every step. | Private deployment on your own systems |
| Legal and compliance | Reviews contracts and policies against your standards and flags exceptions. | Private deployment with strict access controls |
| Research and knowledge | Searches and summarises internal reports, tenders and technical documents. | Token services to start, own hardware at scale |
| Design and media | Rendering, visualisation and generative content for studios and engineering teams. | RTX PRO workstations or L40S servers |
Examples only. We scope the workflow with you, then test it on your own documents before you commit to hardware.
Ways to buy.
All four options use the same open-source models and the same API, so you can start on one and move to another without rebuilding your applications.
| Option | How you pay | Best when | Time to start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Token services, shared | Usage-based, per million tokens | Pilots, internal tools and variable workloads | Fastest. No hardware to wait for |
| Token services, dedicated | Reserved capacity on a recurring term | Steady volume and predictable latency without owning hardware | After contract and capacity reservation |
| Own hardware | Purchase, with phased delivery where useful | High, steady volume and the tightest data control | Set by hardware lead times and facility readiness |
| Hybrid | Tokens now, hardware later | You want proof of value before committing capital | Start on tokens, add hardware as volume grows |
What drives the total cost.
The purchase price is only part of it. We model each of these in your proposal so the comparison with renting is fair.
Hardware or tokens
The price of the systems, or the token volume you expect, with the assumptions behind it.
Power and cooling
Electricity and cooling for the load, often the largest running cost for owned GPUs.
Space
Rack space in your own room or in a colocation facility, and any electrical upgrades needed to install.
Software and support
Serving software, monitoring, warranty and the support level you choose.
People
Who operates the system. We can train your team or run it for you.
Questions buyers ask first.
If yours is not here, ask us.
How long does delivery take?
It depends on the GPU model, quantity and market supply. We confirm lead times with our distributors and state them in the quote. Token services avoid the wait.
Do we need our own data centre?
No. Systems can go in your own room, a colocation facility, or you can start on token services with no facility at all.
Who supports the system after installation?
The manufacturer warranty covers the hardware, and we offer support options for installation, updates and operation. Your quote states exactly what is included.
Can we start small and expand?
Yes. Most clients begin with one team or workflow, or with token services, and add capacity once the value is proven.
Are we locked in to one model or vendor?
No. We deploy open-source models, so you can switch models, host yourself or change supplier without paying to leave.
What do you need from us to quote?
The business problem, the number of users, where the system will run and your timeline. A rough idea is enough to start.
